The Junior Church is for the younger members of our Church. It explains the teachings of God to children in a way that they will find fun, interesting and, most importantly, relevant to them. We commence each session with a joint act of worship, followed by a sharing news time while we have a drink and a biscuit, then the Junior Church is split up into two main age groups:
- The Primary (Age 3-7 years)
- The Juniors/Seniors (Age 7-14 years)
This is the youngest age group in our Church. Here the children learn about God and get to know Jesus through their favourite activities. This includes colouring, painting, games and stories.
The Juniors and Seniors
In this group the children start to explore the Bible and look at how they can follow Jesus both at home and at school. The lessons engage with the children’s sense of adventure and curiosity about life to encourage them to grow in faith. They also focus on the challenge of having a personal Christian faith in today’s society.
Rainbow Corner (Under 4s)
This is an area located at the back of the church to cater for parents with young children during services. There is a rug and a selection of books and toys available.
