Regular events

There are numerous events that take place at the Church and in its halls during the course of each year to which all are welcome.  The following gives a flavour of some of the regular events:

Easter

Easter is an important time in the Christian calendar.  Easter Day is celebrated by the congregation by decorating a cross in flowers.

Drama

College Park Players have, in the past, put on a play in April each year and a pantomime or festive play in early December.  Proceeds were in aid of various charities and/or the church.

Church Outing

The church normally has an outing each September to a place of interest.  Visits have included Hever Castle, Scotney Castle and Ightham Mote.  We have travelled on the Kent & East Sussex Railway from Tenterden to Bodiam Castle and visited Dover Castle for a display of ‘Falconry of the Victorian Age’.

Autumn Fayre / Christmas Market

In October, we have an Autumn Fayre.  Previously a Christmas Market was held at which one of the many highlights was the visit by Father Christmas.

Christmas

Christmas is, of course, another time of celebration and this is done in style at Burnt Ash with a candlelit carol service.  On Christmas Day, the children have a chance to show off their presents to the congregation.
